Michelle has been involved in music on and off her whole life, however she decided to take a break due to being a single mom and raising her kids. At the age of 39 she decided to learn the craft of playing the bass guitar. Michelle played Bass Guitar/Backup Vocals for Therapy Band and Big Nasty , and was the Lead Vocalist for a couple bands known as Straight Up and Train Wreck. Michelle enjoys a lot of styles of music and was invited to audition for Tara Renee as a bass player and vocalist. Tara Renee was blown away with her versatility and vocals that blended so well it sounded natural and not forced! This is Michelle's first go around with Country Music but no one would know if it wasn't told, Michelle brings a whole new sound and is a huge asset to the Tara Renee Band!

The newest addition to the band, young gun Conor Reed is a bit of a musical chameleon.
Despite the efforts of his Country-loving grandpa, Conor was raised on a healthy (and loud) diet of progressive rock and jazz/rock fusion. In stark contrast to this musical upbringing, his first experience playing in front of people came in his father's church in Clarklake, MI at the age of 11.
Not long into his teenage years, he settled in as a hard rock mainstay in the Jackson, MI bar scene, fostering many fruitful working relationships with other local bands and artists. Once he hit college, though, his love for jazz was reignited; he soon began cutting his teeth with many local masters and equally-hungry peers.
Though he wasn't cut out for the academic world, his brief stint in higher education proved formative and impactful nonetheless. Nowadays, when he isn't country rocking with Tara and the gang, Conor can be found filling his time with numerous endeavors, including but not limited to:
• leading his own jazz-fusion outfit, The Existential Funk
• teaching private music lessons
• playing & mentoring with his alma mater, Adrian College's, various groups
• composing music for various projects, and
• volunteering as a musician at various local churches.
